Celebrating Family, Sally Schmitt and Six California Kitchens.

We are thrilled to invite you to share a very special evening with us on December 15, in Studio Barndiva, as we gather to celebrate the publication of Six California Kitchens with Sally Schmitt’s family, our friends and neighbors for over three decades on The Greenwood Ridge in Philo.

The evening will feature a 5-course menu from ‘Six California Kitchens,’ just published to instant acclaim, cooked by her daughter Karen (Philo Apple Farm), son Johnny and grandson Perry (Boonville Hotel) daughter and daughter in-law Terry and Debay (Zito-Schmitt Design), along with Barndiva’s Executive, Chef Erik Anderson.

Wine pairings will be sourced and poured by Anderson Valley winemakers with close ties to our families:  Baxter Vineyards, Drew Winery, Handley Cellars, and Pennyroyal Farms.

The Studio bar will be open, with Scott Beattie shaking and stirring bahl hornin' cocktails.

The evening is a celebration of family and childhood friendships. Seating is very limited in order to encourage conversation and storytelling.
